The Current tab will show you all the assignments set by you (and only you) by default. How can I see if I have any uncompleted assignments? A teacher’s time is precious, and My Markbook saves that valuable time by keeping you up to date with changes like pupil premium or SEND, so you can be ready for any resulting differences in lesson planning or preparation. Like the rest of our SIMS Next Gen products, My Markbook accesses all the student data stored in SIMS, and automatically syncs with SIMS to give you instant, real-time information from across the school. Teachers can view a list of students in any of their classes and add extra columns to the markbook to see contextual student information alongside their results. Archiving an assignment moves it from the Current tab to the Archived tab in the Assignment list view. This allows you to tidy away assignments you’ve finished working on.

Use the ‘not submitted’ filter to find all assignments where one or more students still haven’t submitted their work. It will show assignments which are either before or past their due date. Yes, once an assignment has been archived by the teacher who created it, it will also appear in the archive for all other teachers (but remember that assignments set by other teachers are only visible when the ‘all teachers’ filter is selected). Use "0" for students working below the level of the assessment. It may be the case that you are giving an assessment to a class and you have a student who you judge to be unable to access the assessment (e.g. they have special needs and are working below the level being assessed).
