Destiny of Souls: New Case Studies of Life Between Lives
About this deal
A great follow up to Journey Of Souls, with expanded information on the basics that were presented in the first book. Fascinating reading! " — Mitzi, 6/5/2012 In the first of these, known as Samkhya-Yoga, the aim is to realise the essential separateness of the soul from its material body, thus enabling us to live in the here and now without attachment to the things of the world. At death, the liberated soul will exist eternally beyond any further entanglements with the world. Modern Western postural yoga derives from this, although it is intended, not so much to remove us from the world, as to enable us the better to function within it. This is a very important subject that you bring up, this whole idea of choice and free will, and it’s very much a part of our lives. I was reading Destiny of Souls by Dr. Michael Newton (the pioneer of past life regression hypnotherapy) and came across this interesting chapter on souls who commit suicide and what they learn upon leaving Earth and returning to the spirit world. It's not as horrible as most people are taught. So this guy regresses people, not to their past lives, but to the time *in-between* their last life and this life. To see what that's all about. And he's collected all these cases to piece together this map of how all this life stuff works.
You indicate that we have choices both here and in the spirit realm. Why is that something you emphasize? There is always a part of the soul that remains in the spirit world. Highly developed souls, especially, often underestimate the percentage of soul energy they need to take with them into the body and thus run into problems. I’ve read all of Dr. Newton’s books on the subject of Life Between Lives hypnotherapy. I consider him to be an important pioneer in the field and I am extremely grateful to have read his works. It made humanity qualitatively unique; ensuring the life of each individual soul had an ultimate meaning within the grand, divine scheme. However, even without a belief in the transcendent, atheistic humanists and existentialists still affirm the distinct value of each human person. Journey of Souls and Destiny of Souls are two of the most fascinating books I have ever read."—Academy Award-Winning Actress and Author Shirley MacLaine Are there any keys to understanding life and how to live it that you have gleaned from your study of life between lives? Life changing. The book that catapulted me towards my spiritual journey and then onto writing my own books. Thank you Dr Newton! Big Love! The principle of unity is an important one, and it’s no accident that we’re in this very diverse cultural milieu here on Earth where we are confronting the issues.
The book goes into more detail about the spiritual plane than any other book I have read on the subject, including those by Dolores Cannon. Readers couldn’t get enough, their appetites about life between lives whetted but not quenched by perhaps the first documented use of hypnotherapy to explore life behind the veil. Dr. Newton, who has developed techniques to take clients so deeply with hynosis that life between lives can be recalled, responded to calls by readers for more information by releasing a follow-up book from his numerous sessions with souls of varying maturity. You identify yourself in the book as a messenger, a reporter of information that you receive from clients. How has this information shaped your view of reality? Your case studies indicate that there are soul groups that may have distinct purposes, like the ones who protect others, transforming and healing ones, the planetary healers. Do you think that soul groups have a common purpose distinct from each other.Aside from my own spiritual beliefs (I was raised a Mormon and I'd say 90% of LDS theology dovetails nicely with Newton's revelations), what impressed me the most about Newton's research is the consistency of recall over hundreds of hypnosis subjects. While there are other explanations (Jung's "collective unconscious" comes to mind, as well as the "genetic memory" theory), Newton's discoveries seemed most likely to me. In the words of Joseph Smith, founder of Mormonism and a true charismatic sage: "Truth tastes good."
For my final review of a book by Michael Newton, having already done three additional ones tonight, how about this? I'll quote a couple of statements from him with which I do agree. YES! Llewellyn Worldwide does not participate in, endorse, or have any authority or responsibility concerning Destiny of Souls” is precisely what the subtitle says it is: New Case Studies of Life Between Lives. I appreciate that Dr. Newton presents his opinions as opinions, and not as facts. He invites his readers to embrace or discard what they read according to their own judgment. I did find myself in disagreement with him on a few points, but never to the point that it interfered with my ability to gain what I could from the book. In this book you will read interviews with sixty-seven people who allowed themselves to be put into a deep state of hypnosis and were regressed to a time between lives. The results will absolutely astound you.
