Activity lover: Visit Lyndhurst where you can hire bikes and explore the extensive cycle trails – wheel your way around Denny Wood to the south east, or plan ahead using the New Forest cycle route guide. If you feel like getting out on the water, drive down to beautiful Beaulieu and go canoeing or kayaking. I did a Masters Degree in International Political Economy, really exploring conscientious capitalism and how we can have a capitalist system that's a bit fairer and creates more opportunities for all. That really inspired me to go into a business career. I really wanted to stay around Wales, but there wasn’t the work for me at the time. The trouble was I knew I had to be close to the sea, so I settled in West Dorset where I still am now with my family. It always meant I could be close enough to London and Bristol for work, but still surf as regularly as possible. I love it here! Work wise I got into the food and drinks industry, starting my career with Clipper Teas, the World’s first fair trade organic tea company. They are a great brand, cool business and the founder became a really good friend and mentor. How did it start with Feel Good Drinks? The brief was to move Feel Good Drinks Co. on from its one-dimensional health message to a more holistic, wellbeing alternative. As well as the new drink formulation the re-launch aims to hero a new brand concept committed to sustainability and boosting the wellbeing of the world. This has been brought to life via the inception of the ‘3% for People and Planet Fund’ – whereby Feel Good drinks will give 3% of sales to charities and non -profits that support personal and planetary wellbeing. The agency developed a refreshingly minimalist design, providing stand out and calm on a busy shelf fixture. They created an ownable logo – the smiling and peaceful ‘zen’ face – a flexible visual mnemonic that is incorporated into the brand name, and can also be used independently as a signifier, favicon and animation in the broader brand world.

You can either stay at Durdle Door to experience the morning magic once more or drive just under an hour to your next destination, Seatown and stay at Golden Cap Holiday Park. And it’s legal. Mary Lewis, creative director at The Collaborators, said, “It really does ‘Feel Good’ to take the brand up a level and give people a better choice on how they consume. We’re proud to see that our approach and our new design has been well received and we hope this marks a happier, healthier new chapter for Feel Good drinks.” Refuel: Visit Clavell’s in Kimmeridge for locally sourced “field to fork” food. Head to the pub at Worth Matravers to warm up by the fire or cool down in the garden, depending on the season! Whether that’s a walk in the park, a yoga session, paddle-boarding or talking to your neighbour, Feel Good wants to give people a better choice about themselves and the world they live in. They believe when you feel good, everything else will follow. Surfing played such a big role in the hard times in my life, so I just love knowing that by working with The Wave we can help give more people access to water who really need it and can benefit from it. It’s all about the chance to taste it, and the good impact it can have on your life. I think surfing has never had a bigger role to play. Surfing is just so relevant for blue health. So this is about allowing people - particularly disadvantaged young adults in Bristol - to access the things that we love and make us feel good. And it’s not just about surfing, and waves, but the behavioural and mental health change that being in or near the water can foster, overcoming fears and gaining confidence. Food and drink branding specialists, The Collaborators have repositioned and rebranded Feel Good Drinks to give it a more ownable and purpose-led proposition.
