years later, his parents decided to commemorate the anniversary of this tragedy, leaving a scholarship dedicated to Michael. In 1995, Jessica arrives in Hurricane, Utah, to attend the launch of a scholarship dedicated to his old friend Michael Brooks, who went missing a decade earlier due to an incident at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. Appearing in Chapter 1, she reunites with John and Carlton Burke. Charlie later shows up, and in the middle of their awkward conversations, the four start to talk about Freddy's. They then decide to revisit Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, a restaurant Charlie's father once owned. Carlton claims that an incomplete shopping mall has been built in the restaurant's place. Upon further investigation, the friends discover the restaurant is still standing and that the mall had been built around it. After they find a way to break in, they explore the abandoned restaurant and find that the animatronics, Freddy Fazbear, Bonnie, and Chica, which were built by Charlie's father, were still on stage.
Years later, local priest Arthur Blythe was called to the hospital to give him his last rites, but William began to communicate with him, first by creating beeps through the monitors, and next by tracing letters with a single finger, spelling out FAZBENTERDISCENTER. Arthur figured out that it was shorthand for the Fazbear Entertainment Distribution Center, which Arthur then figured out he wanted to visit. He began to petition for the hospital to allow the man to visit, initially being refused. All three nurses attempt to kill William, but all are prevented by Andrew. As they search for a way out, the four robots come to life and pursue them through the restaurant. William reveals that the robots are possessed by the vengeful ghosts of his victims and boasts that they will hunt down and kill any intruders. The group tries to hide in a party room, but all four robots corner them. The three were guided to an underground pizzeria, where they finally find Charlie. However, they are surrounded by Twisted Bonnie and Twisted Wolf, commanded by William Afton, who is now undead; With his new body, he calls himself Springtrap. The four manage to escape, even managing to burn down Twisted Bonnie and Twisted Wolf. Then Charlie sees that Springtrap escapes and starts chasing him, leaving her friends behind. John, Jessica, and Clay are surrounded by Twisted Bonnie, Twisted Wolf, and Twisted Freddy. However, they are rescued by the original Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy, as they destroy the twisted animatronics. Later Marla and Carlton go to rescue Jessica and the three kids. Marla shoves the illusionary device into Jessica's ear, as Carlton goes to find the taken kid. Marla, Jessica, and the three kids run to the exit, however they are being chased by Funtime Foxy. Marla and Jessica try to fend the fox off from harming the kids. Jessica has shoulder-length glossy brown hair, brown eyes, and is described to be very thin and quite tall, as she’s mentioned to be taller than both John and Carlton. She dresses elegantly, embracing her femininity, usually wearing nice blouses.
They rushed to the doorway to meet her just as she walked in. Arty seemed confused, his mouth opened slightly and his brow furrowed. John watched for a steady moment, then turned away decisively, facing across the table with a grave expression. He didn’t speak until Arty met his gaze. “That’s not Charlie.”When they go to Clay's house and to his basement, they discover the animatronics and the Golden Freddy costume, totally immobile. John starts talking to them, then they realize that the animatronics turned their heads in the direction of the young man and that Golden Freddy's suit had given off two white lights in the empty basins of the suit; showing that Michael and the rest of the children still possessed the robots. When John mentions the name of William Afton, the animatronics go mad and flee violently into the woods, including Golden Freddy that disappears. As Charlie's friends mourn over her death, a woman drives up and got out. She was slim and tall, with long, straight brown hair that glistened in the sun. She strode purposefully toward the diner. They all watched motionless, as if the slightest sound might rupture the illusion and send her away. The woman was almost at the door. When it gets dark, they will awaken; the children's spirits will rise. They will kill you. I'll just walk out in the morning, stepping over your corpses, one by one.”
