About this deal

I wondered if I should don my flame suit for posting about an Invicta but it does seem this has hit the spot.

It's good to see that Invicta can make a nice watch when they want to. I own one, and from a VFM perspective, they are a decent product. It's one of the only non-Rolex date magnifiers I've seen that's actually decent. I have a habit of every spring buying a beater diver to use for six months as we tend to do a lot of outdoor activity, travelling & adventuring with the kids, sports, water activity and so on, and then often flipping it when summer is over.

It was just a suggestion, bearing in mind that they have introduced some new bezel colours etc that I really don’t like (sometimes it seems that Invicta just can’t help themselves) The pictures show the strap on a Tudor, which looks very similar to this Invicta. The hands are a bit different, but quite similar. I presume there's a similar VAT deal to the CW seem to have for sales going the other way. Its helpful if dealers can manage the VAT without buyers having to get involved. Nice! As someone said earlier, just lose the font, the Invicta word itself doesn't bother me, just don't like the font used for it. But looks great value all the same.

You are correct, it is missing the standard Invicta engraving on the side of the case. Thank Christ. I've had an invicta in the past and it was nothing but exceptional to be honest, it was actually my first mechanical watch so kept it in my collection. When you buy one, they seem to offer you a box as an add-on. I thought my watch might be shipped loose because of it, but it still comes in the Invicta yellow box, so the additional box they offer must be something else. It's not supposed to be a BB is it, it's supposed to be a homage to the very first Rolex sub dating from 1953.Worked for about 7 years before I decided to have a go at tinkering with the movement and messed it up You can view Sales Corner if your post count is 50 or more and you have been registered as a member for 60 days or more.
