About this deal

Surprisingly Mature Ending: Hyesung doesn't forgive either of his parents. He completely shuts his dad out, and he decides to talk with his mom but decides not to forgive her in the end after hearing her out. They don't villainize the mom either, they try to paint her in a more morally grey light. Our parents aren't expected to be perfect role models, but we don't have to forgive them either. I like it. They're a terrible couple who are terrible for each other. The main thing tying them together is the fact that Hye-sung seems to be Dojin's muse (find another source of inspiration!), and Hye-sung is a dumbass whose idiocy makes Dojin understandably worried. Hye-sung, there are no non-sketchy ways for you to make money fast, so stop falling for scams!

While I'm definitely not going to debate with you about whether you should like dubious/no consent in BL and omegaverse fiction, many educated and progressive authors use these fics to explore fantasies and cater to people like them create and these fics to share and build communities. Of course there are gross pedophilic authors that should be condemned, but most of these parties are of age. I read the full Korean version of this and, oh boy, it’s been a long time since I have read a series so bad.Two people fall in love and just flow with the tide and before they know it, they are on the lifelike trail of falling out of love. This doesn’t mean that there aren’t successful couples out there. Yes, there are many successful couples except that sometimes you wonder if they are together because of being too freaking in love or because of being two good liars. When I was a very young lad, my Sunday school teacher taught me a number of notions about what love is. We were literally forced to memorize 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 and me being the sharp chap that I was, used to memorize it like a song: Love is patient, kind, does not envy, does not boast, is not proud, does not dishonor others, is not self-seeking, blah blah blah! I know y’all know the drill. Well, I grew up believing in the perfect kind of love. We learned a lot about love: agape love, unconditional love, that God is love, love is the greatest commandment and many more ‘lovely descriptions of love’. In short, we were taught about what love is supposed to be, as opposed to what love really is and honestly, this, according to me, was the genesis of all the teething troubles that happens in most relationships. Nobody took their precious time to tell us the truth about what love truly is. Children are taught about love just the way you would explain how a pizza tastes to a person who has never seen one before. And you keep wondering what may have caused your last break-up? Oh, my friend, it is not your fault, the whole idea of love is just super-overrated. What nobody told me before, is that love is not something that can be defined and anyone who tries to define it is a big fat liar. Love is just what it is. it's an omegaverse and we all know in this genre, the characters act pretty different and sometimes very far away from a human like behavior. It'd be nice to know more about why Hye-sung has spent his entire life hiding that he's actually really good at math, and I am morbidly curious about Dojin's stiffly awkward family. But I don't know that I'm curious enough about any of that to put up with more heat cycle rapiness. I really wanted some of the warmth and sweetness of the cover art, and this volume gave me none of that.

Well, does it matter anyway? If you haven’t listened to a song entitled ‘Everybody Lies’ by Jason Walker, do so after reading this and especially if you are a bit skeptical about romantic love like I do. Walker says in his song that “ The only truth is that everybody lies.” If you have never lied when in a romantic relationship, you just won yourself a Nobel Prize! The ugly truth is that, even when you think that you are being honest with each other, you end up realizing that you are just lying to each other and letting your emotions confuse you. Meanwhile, the brain hasn’t been working since the time you two ‘lovebirds’ started having a crush on each other. The big question is: Should we stop looking for love?Their beauty and talent is a given. Extremely rare, even more than DA. They control completely their omega pheromones outside heat period. I have to say that as far as ABO/Omegaverse stories go, Love Is an Illusion is one of the most stereotypical plots I've seen. It's uhhh about uhhhh an alpha who isn't actually an uhhhh alpha and this fake alpha attracts the attention of a real alpha who H-A-T-E-S omegas and they hook up and blah blah, you get the gist. This is not a good BL. Probably an average BL. DO NOT READ THIS IF YOU DO NOT LIKE DUBCON/NONCON IT IS DEFINITELY NOT ONE OF THOSE SERIES THAT IS UNPROBLEMATIC. It's not even problematic in like... a fun way. There's nothing fun to read about the main couple which is very dangerous considering the whole manhwa is a romance??? So???? Yeah????????????/ It ends rather anti-climactically, the pacing starts to unravel in general for this webtoon at this point, but Heesoo is kidnapped, and we find out Chowon can't let go of Dojun because of a desire to be loved and Heesoo having what Chowon never did in his marriage-- a deep contrast to how it worked out for them compared to how the first couple miraculously makes it work. But Chowon is caught again, and Dojun finally files charges against Chowon, but the only taking the agreement that Chowon seeks help with no further repercussions and leaves Chowon's life.
